LEKI offers aluminum and carbon shafts of various qualities.

From cost-effective aluminum for beginners to highly robust/hardened aluminum. And the highlights include carbon poles made of high-quality carbon fiber.

Aluminium
For its top poles, LEKI uses exclusively high-strength aluminum shafts (like those used in aircraft construction), avoiding the use of cheaper materials. These are prepared and hardened in a process specially developed by LEKI. They are highly stable and able to withstand the most extreme conditions and types of use. With this state-of-the-art technology, LEKI is in a special position to offer pole designs which feature long lifetime and durability. LEKI quality is legendary!

Carbon
Carbon fibers are the result of a highly technical carbonization of synthetic polymer fibers or organic substances. What is created is a network of fibers which are approx. eight times thinner than human hair. Poles from carbon fibers feature extreme rigidity, a high carrying capacity and a low specific weight.

Surface

The surfaces of our poles are the basis for the consistently high quality and durability of the design throughout the entire lifetime of all LEKI models.

LEKI is the only pole manufacturer which rough-grinds all shafts to ensure the optimal pre-treatment for the subsequent processing steps. The poles are degreased and cleaned without the use of chemicals, which helps protect the environment. LEKI offers different methods for treating the pole surfaces which are all finished by a sealing process.

Trendsetting lacquering methods With the use of water-based lacquer systems and the application of emission-free powder coating technologies, LEKI helps protect the environment. With the use of high-tech paint-spray lines and sophisticated circulation systems, the coating materials are made use of almost completely. All lacquers and printing inks used are free of heavy metals and harmful azo dyes.

Liquid paint method
Several layers are applied to the pre-treated poles. This seals and protects the surface.

Powder-coating
Jets apply several layers of powder, which are then burned in inside a high-temperature oven and dried.

Anodic oxidation coating
With this coating technology, the aluminum pole is chemically processed. The result are high-quality, super resistant and nearly scratch-free surfaces.
